How do I book a taxi with Taxi-Time?
Simply get in touch using the contact form, phone, or WhatsApp. Tell us your pickup location, destination, date and time, and number of passengers — and we’ll confirm availability and get back to you promptly.
Is Taxi-Time an app?
No. Taxi-Time is a pre-booked private hire service. All journeys are arranged in advance, directly with the driver — no app required.
How do I pay?
For fixed-price bookings (such as airport transfers), we’ll send you a payment link via email or WhatsApp once your booking is confirmed. Other journeys can be paid by cash or card on the day — just let us know your preference when booking.
Are airport transfer prices fixed?
Yes. Airport transfers are quoted at a fixed price — what you’re quoted is what you pay, with no hidden charges or surge pricing.
Which airports do you cover?
We cover all major London and Essex airports, including London Stansted, London Southend, London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Luton, and London City Airport.
Do you offer meet and greet at airports?
Yes. On airport arrivals, your driver will be waiting to meet you — so you don’t have to worry about finding your way to a pickup point after a long flight.
Is there a minimum distance for bookings?
No minimum distance applies. Whether it’s a short local trip or a journey across the UK, we’re happy to help.
Do you travel outside Essex?
Yes. For airport transfers, events, corporate travel, and long distance journeys, we travel anywhere in the UK.
Are child seats available?
Please ask when booking and we’ll do our best to accommodate. (Child seat availability is being confirmed.)
Are you fully licensed and insured?
Yes. Taxi-Time is fully licensed and insured for private hire work. Licensing details are available on request.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Get in touch as early as you can and we’ll do our best to accommodate changes. (Full cancellation terms are being confirmed.)
